Are the kids outside every day?

There have been a few days in our history where the weather, air conditions, or borderline illnesses that kept us inside-but these are rare. The short answer is yes-you can expect your kids to be outside every day.

...Even in the winter rain and snow?

Yes! This is important to know going in to make sure you child is outfitted to be comfortable (and dry) outdoors-rain, shine, snow, or wind!

 What is the student to teacher ratio?

We maintain an average 6 students to 1 adult.  This allows us to really personalize our interactions, and redirect as needed. This is also very helpful in us helping to teach the children individual skills that may be challenging to them.

Are there aftercare hours?

There is some flexibility based on individual situations, on a case-by-case basis.

Where do you take field trips?

Various Portland Parks and Natural Sites around the Portland Metro area.  Families have the option to get daily texts about the field trip destination
